About our chef, Jean:
Over the past 20 years, Jean has wowed guests with her creative ability in the kitchen and her focus on making healthy, organic meals that are delicious. Jean has become convinced that the best-tasting food is organically grown, and prepared in a healthy way. After a sabbatical in France, Jean began a love affair with crêpes and graduated from École Maitre Crêperie in Mauree de Bretagne in Brittany, the home of French crêpe-making. The VILLAGE CREPERIE is a place where Jean has brought her passions together for healthy, tasty food with the French crêpe.
About Bob:
Jean and her husband Bob have shared a keen interest in food for many years. They co-wrote one of Canada’s first health focused cookbooks together. Bob recently retired from the University of Guelph as Acting Dean of the College of Physical and Engineering Science and Professor and Chair of the Chemistry Department. He has made a smooth transition from the laboratory to the kitchen with Jean to help make the VILLAGE CREPERIE a reality.
